In 1974, an entrepreneur started a precision machining shop — a modest workshop floor, manual lathes, and a discipline for working strictly to drawing.

Founded by Mr. Kanaiyalal J. Gajaria, and joined in 1981 by Mr. Mahesh P. Gajaria as co-partner, the company has evolved with manufacturing technology while preserving the craftsmanship and technical precision developed through decades of hands-on engineering experience.

From conventional turning, milling, shaping and grinding to CNC EDM Wire-Cut and VMC machining — the shop combines traditional engineering expertise with modern production capability. The principle hasn’t changed: dimensional accuracy, process reliability, and on-time delivery.

The founder of Laxmi Industrial Corporation — established the workshop single-handedly in 1974 and shaped its standards of precision, discipline and long-term customer trust through three decades of hands-on leadership. His strategic vision charted the workshop’s later expansion into CNC and VMC capability. Stepped back from day-to-day operations in 2006; his philosophy and craftsmanship continue to inform every job that leaves the shop floor.

Managing Partner · Age 55

Co-partner of Laxmi Industrial Corporation since 1981 and the partner who runs the shop hands-on today. Brings deep expertise in conventional machining accumulated over four decades, and has served as managing partner, leading day-to-day operations, since 2006 — production planning, customer relationships, and the technical direction of the full workshop, including the CNC and VMC programs operated by the shop’s specialist team.

Founded in Bhavnagar

Established by Kanaiyalal J. Gajaria as a precision machining workshop in Bhavnagar, Gujarat.

1981

Mahesh P. Gajaria joins

Mahesh P. Gajaria joins the firm as co-partner, broadening the shop’s conventional machining capacity.

1985

Conventional shop scale-up

Expansion of manual lathe, milling, and shaping capacity to handle larger production batches and a growing roster of industrial clients.

1991

Grinding & finishing program

Investment in centerless, cylindrical, surface and tool-cutter grinding to deliver tighter tolerances and finer surface finishes.

2006

Managing partnership & CNC wire-cut

Mahesh P. Gajaria takes over as managing partner. Addition of CNC EDM Wire-Cut machining to deliver complex profiles, tooling components and gauges with repeatable precision.

2018

VMC machining capability

Vertical Machining Centre commissioned for production-scale milling and contoured 3-axis work — complementing the full conventional and grinding shop.
